
Job Description: Accounts and Finance
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, book keeping, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions and reconciliation, and prepare detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis reports.
• Monitor and control operational expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory filings, and financial reporting standards.
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, and tax consultants to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide financial insights to senior management to support decision-making.
• Support business development and funds raising with the financials components and engagements as required.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team to improve performance and ensure efficient operations.
Administrative and People Management
• Manage office operations, supplies, and maintenance to ensure a productive work environment.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all systems and services function efficiently
• Maintain relationships with external service providers, landlords, and regulatory authorities and contractors for office needs.
• Coordinate with staff and departments to ensure the facility meets business needs.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including employee benefits and safety protocols.
• Support organizational training and development initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team accountability.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and set clear goals for team members.

Qualifications:
1. HND or bachelor's degree in accounts, finance or relevant fields. *Professional qualification is an added advantage.
2. 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
